The poker room is run in a very professional manner. Jan Fisher and Linda Johnson have been around poker for many many years, and Jan was a dealer herself years ago. They both know what makes a good card room. They hire the best dealers, some of them deal for “High Stakes Poker” as I recognized them from TV. It’s that much more exciting to know that the same dealers who deal to Daniel, Chris Ferguson, Doyle Brunson and Derr have also dealt to us on the last two cruises!
The poker service is five star run by the best staff you could possibly assemble. No one gets out of line and everything runs smoothly as a card room goes. They have a wet bar in the poker room with a waiter there the entire time the tables are in play, day or night. The poker room also provides its own food bar in the back, as if the ship doesn’t already stuff you all day long. And, with a little luck, you might even go home with more money than you came with!
That’s my opinion and the reason we are (in three weeks) going on our third trip this year. We are full paying customers with no affiliation with Card Player Cruises, FYI.
