PartyPoker Million Final Table - March 2002

Bruce Yamron is a 50 year-old self-employed retail jeweler from Naples, Florida. He just loved getting to play so much poker, being that he lives in the great poker wasteland of Florida. Bruce spends most of his poker playing hours at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. He bought into the event for $8,000 and arrived at the final table with $203,000. No stranger to tournament poker, Bruce won $35,000 at the WSOP in 2000 when he came in 24th place in the championship event the time that Chris Ferguson, another final table player, won. Remarkably, he has only been playing poker for six years. His hobbies include travel, golf, and fine wine. He enjoys these things with his wife, Bridget, and daughters Christie, 23, and Courtney, 22. His thoughts about the PartyPoker Million were "I loved the concept. This event will grow from here. It has something for everyone: professionals, Internet players, and recreational players alike. Thank you, Mike, and thank you, Linda."
