What is the World Poker Players Conference?
It is an annual event that features world-class poker players and
authorities presenting a full day of seminars to help improve the
poker skills of those in attendance. The target audience is anyone
who wants to become a better player, meet poker celebrities, and/or
meet poker enthusiasts who share your passion for poker.
What are some of the topics that will be covered at the
WPPC?
There will be discussion of poker tips and strategies, money management,
game selection, specific play of hands, online advice, the poker
lifestyle, tournament advice, and many other poker topics. (please
delete online advice from above) Limit hold’em and no-limit
hold’em will be the main games discussed, however other forms
of poker will be mentioned, and the poker strategies and tips can
apply to all games. There will be time for questions and answers
at the end of each speaker’s seminar, as well as time to interact
with the speakers during breaks.
Who is scheduled to speak at the WPPC?
Mike Caro, the legendary "Mad Genius of Poker,"
has agreed to be part of The Fifth Annual World Poker Players Conference!
.
In addition to his duties as the Conference emcee, he will be sharing
his unique poker insight and valuable strategy tips throughout the
day. *Currently confirmed to speak are Jan Fisher, Clonie Gowen, Mark
Gregorich, Kenna James, Linda Johnson, Lee Jones, Barry Tanenbaum,
Mark Tenner, and Robert Williamson.

Are meals included?
Yes, all attendees will receive a Continental breakfast. Due to
the Nov. 4 deadline to provide an accurate number guaranteed for
lunch to the Foxwoods catering department, only those who are registered
and have paid the early bird registration price of $169 by Nov.
4 will receive a sit-down lunch. Lunch will not be included for
attendees who register after Nov. 4.
