Cruise Guide
Poker cruises come in all shapes and sizes and go to lots of awesome travel destinations. You will have many options and will need to make a lot of choices when determining which cruise you wish to take. Some cruise lines cater to younger cruises; some cater to older cruisers. You will need to decide if you want a small, cozy ship or a mega liner that holds up to 6,200 passengers. You will need to decide if you want a warm weather cruise or a cold weather cruise. You will have to choose if you want mostly domestic ports or mostly international ports. Whatever you final choices are, Card Player Cruises will have something to your liking. Most years we go to the Caribbean, Mexico, Alaska, as well as to exotic ports. Check out our schedule of itineraries.

We can also book shuttles to/from your hotel and the airport. Call us for more information.
Shore Excursions (Optional)
Most poker cruises offer shore excursions at ports of call and before and after the cruise. You'll be sent a newsletter with information on how to book the shore excursions offered for your cruise about a month before departure.
We also offer a Card Player Cruises private excursion/s on all of our cruises and again information will be send to you once you have booked a particular cruise with us.
Travel Insurance (Optional)
We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance. This protects you in the event you need to cancel your poker cruise or if the unexpected happens. See our Travel Guard Page to learn more.
Roommate Selection
All poker cruise prices are based on double occupancy (two persons per room). If you are a single traveler and wish to share a cabin, Card Player Cruises will try to match you with another traveler of the same sex if at all possible.
Special Events
Want to get married at sea? Plan a birthday or anniversary celebration for your significant other? Card Player Cruises will be happy to help you plan these special events. Please just let us know when making your reservation or inquiry.
Special Requests
Thousands of poker players have taken Card Player Cruises. Many of them have special needs or requests. While most of these requests can be met, each cruise line is different. If you have a special request, please let us know when making your reservation or inquiry.
Children
You don't have to leave your children at home (though you might want to do so!) Most of the cruise lines have special programs and baby/child sitting services available. If you have children and need special services, again we are happy to assist.
Non poker-playing Cruisers
Each cruise ship is a floating entertainment center! There's always more to do than time to do it in. Non poker-playing cruisers will never be at a loss for things to do. Beginning poker lessons are offered for those who would like to learn to play.
Smoking Policy
The Card Player Cruises poker room is always nonsmoking. Ships are designated as non-smoking; however, they recognize that some of their guests smoke. Therefore, to provide an onboard environment that also satisfies smokers, they have designated certain public and private areas of the ship as "smoking areas."
