Thursday November 21st - Tour A - Ho Chi Minh City

Famous Cu Chi Tunnels Tour by Speedboat (10 hours)

You will learn a lot of history on this tour as you discover some of the tunnels that were built to hide the VietCong. Begin this tour with a transfer from the port to Bach Dang Pier which takes approximately 2.5 hours. From the pier, you will board our private speed boat to discover the Cu Chi Tunnels. This is an important site for visitors to Vietnam to see. You will watch a short introductory video showing the foundation, activities, and the people who lived here in the past. You will have the option to crawl through all of the safe parts of the tunnel system.

Also on display are various man traps and the remains of an American tank, as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 lb bombs dropped by B-52 bombers. After time to familiarize yourself with these major historical tunnels, you will board our speed boat for a ride back to Bach Dang Pier. A lunch box will be served on board.

After arrival at the pier, we will start our return back to the port.

Thursday November 21st - Tour B - Ho Chi Minh City

The real Ho Chi Minh City Tour (8 hrs)

You will transfer from the port to Ho Chi Minh City in approximately 2-2.5 hours. Visit the Thien Hau Temple dedicated to the Chinese sea goddess Mazu with many traditional practices revealed in the Chinese style architecture. The next stop is the Ben Thanh Market, the biggest market in the city.

The tour continues with a stop at a lacquerware workshop where you will experience the handmade local pieces of art. Next visit the war remnants museum. This museum contains exhibitions of artifacts, old weapons, letters, documentaries, etc.

Lunch is served with Pho - traditional noodle soup and spring rolls. After lunch, there will be photo stops for the Independence Palace, the Notre Dame of Saigon, the general post office, and the Opera House.
