The Championship event will be held at sea during the Card Player Cruises - 7 Night Western Caribbean Cruise on the Liberty of the Seas - R/T Galveston on May 13th 2018.

Part of the attraction of Cozumel is it's many ancient Mayan ruins. There are 24 different sites known so far. Visitors will also be pleased by Cozumel's many tropical beaches ranging from family beaches to the unspoiled and exotic. Home to many indigenous species of wildlife, visitors will find themselves enchanted by the nearby Faro Celerian Eco Park. Diving, paddle boarding, snorkeling, sightseeing and a host of other activities are also offered.

White sand beaches, crystal blue waters and dreamy tropical weather await travelers looking for a day's getaway. If you love snorkeling, you will find that Georgetown is ringed with shipwrecks, coral reefs and the famous stingray city where guests can interact with these gentle and sweet creatures. During your stay, take time to visit the duty-free shops, cafes and restaurants.

Have a great time in Galveston.  One of the biggest attractions in Galveston is Moody Gardens.  At Moody Gardens, there are three giant glass pyramids that house different exhibits including a tropical rain forest and aquarium.  Also in Galveston, you can visit World War II museums, that include a battleship and submarine.

Card Player Cruises proudly features a professional, fully staffed, non-smoking poker room. The poker room is usually open for play immediately after the first-seating dinner on your departure day. The poker room remains open throughout most of the cruise except when the ship is in port. Free beginner lessons for novices are offered, followed by a low limit hold’em game for beginners only.

The Card Player Cruises staff will be happy to spread any game and limit that enough players want to play. A general guideline regarding the games and limits on most cruises is as follows:

Limit hold’em: $2/$4 – $4-$8 and higher upon request No–limit hold’em: $1/3, $2/5, and higher upon request Omaha/8: $4/8 and often higher ($10/20 on up). Mixed games: Mixed games upon request Tournaments will be announced.
